It started with a spoon
and a bowl we never baked.
Every batch of cookies we made, half the dough vanished before the oven was warm. So we stopped pretending. mello. is the dough we always wanted to eat straight from the bowl, made properly: butter browned slowly until it smells like toffee, chocolate worth eating on its own, and a jar small enough to finish and big enough to share.
Scoop it cold. Bake it thin. Bake it chunky. Same dough, different happiness.
