Who we are

mello. is a small cookie business based in London. For anything about your data, use our contact form.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email, first name if you give it, the box you wanted, any gift note and your next-stop vote. We also note which page and link brought you here. We use this to let you know when the next batch is ready.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form, so we can reply.
• Your box: what you add to your box is kept in your own browser until you clear it.

Cookies and analytics

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.

If you choose Accept cookies, we also use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand which pages and destinations people enjoy. PostHog may record how you move around the site so we can fix confusing parts; anything typed into forms is hidden from those recordings. If you choose No, neither tool runs and no analytics cookies are set.

Where it is stored

Waitlist entries and messages are stored privately with Vercel, our hosting provider. PostHog data is held in its EU region. Google Analytics data is processed by Google. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until they are no longer needed for the waitlist. Analytics data is kept only for a limited period, and recordings are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to be taken off the waitlist, through our contact form. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
